We really don't know enough to make any valid conclusions. As others have said there are two sides to a story. Here is what I am wondering, if it was Hoffman's GF that made these nasty remarks what triggered her to do so in the first place? There has to be a reason, you don't just start making remarks like that for no reason. Obviously something had to have happened before between the two women for her to go that far and that nasty and we don't know what that is. Not that it remotely would excuse her actions but there is obviously things we don't know here.
