Why would Vancouver be ahead of Calgary when Tavares is going to put a priority on winning?
Proven 20, 23, 24 year old star forwards and a very solid blueline. The Flames also have a very effective hard minutes centre.
The Canucks have a blueline in shambles and a couple of good young forwards in Horvat and Boeser. Petterson looks good but still has never played in the nhl.
