I think Toronto covets a guy like Dougie and they should. He represents a big missing piece for that team IMO. Brodie to a lesser extent. Stone somewhat?

Calgary must get a forward back along with the 1st rounder. Marner too much? Kapanen not enough? Is Nylander a possibility? I don't know but I see them as a good fit to do a deal with Calgary. Of course there are other teams that would need/want a Dman and could afford to move a RH forward. Columbus (Atkinson), Tampa (Johnson), Montreal (Gallagher, although maybe they need a C more than a defenceman).

It's going to get interesting now that the Finals have ended. Rasmus, in my mind, stays with the big club next season. I'm convinced that Treliving is going to move a defenceman. Whether or not it's in a huge deal or a smaller one is where the intrigue lies for me.

The trade that will happen is TJ Brodie to Ottawa as part of a package for Hoffman. If thats the case, I don't see Hamilton leaving as well.
