With Bourdain and with Spade, that's two celebrity suicides inside of a week that leave young children without one of their parents, that's the tragedy here.

It also shines a spotlight that whoever you are, however many dollars you have in the bank, no matter how big your house is, or how much people love you, Depression and anxiety disorders can make that all meaningless.

For Spade her husband came out and said she'd been battling depression and anxiety for a while, I'm sure we'll see stories like this with Bourdain in the coming days.

If you're feeling depressed, exhausted, anxious, angry or just feel like the world would be better off without you, right now, push away from the keyboard, and go talk to a professional, if you're not comfortable sharing it with people that you know because of the stigma attached to mental illness, go talk to a professional. Don't try to ignore it, don't think that it will go away without intervention. Just do it.

As tragic as these suicides are, if something positive can come out of them in terms of people realizing how all encompassing these illnesses are and it forces them to go help, then at least something good will come out of something horrible.
