Kings were in dire need of defense this year after moving on from bouwmeester, schultz, hjalmarsson, and girardi from last year. We knew we would have to give up a big piece in hoffman but are acquiring 2 long term fixes to a young blue line.
Garland was a prospect i had very little faith in turning around and with both fitz and gusta on my echl i felt i could move one.
