To play videogames professionally you have to spend many, many hours playing videogames when you're 13-18. Playing many, many hours of video-games when you're 13-18,
and doing a regular school day and homework,
and getting regular exercise,
and having an active social life seems extraordinarily difficult to pull off. There are only so many hours in the day.
