Just a couple weeks back as a GM and it was fairly clear that I needed to dump cap. I have only managed 3 trades so far but have had a lot of talks and that should continue.

Trade 1: nothing more than a cap dump
Versteeg for a 4th

Trade 2: cap dump
Koivu and a 2nd for Bozak and Brouwer
-I had to move Koivu and his huge cap hit, wanted a 2 for 1 but decided to throw a 2nd in there to get a deal done. Doesn't save a lot of money this year but I get 2 serviceable players for less than the cost of Koivu.
Trade 3:
Granlund and Asplund for Greene and a 2019 3rd.
-Not a big of Granlund and was hoping to shore up my top 4 in a deal. Greene fits right into the top 4.

Nothing earth shattering but I have managed to free up some cap which has been the goal.
