Is it any different from the reason why no NHL organization is banging-down Willie Desjardins's door? I don't have any strong feelings one way or the other, but I will say that I watch a lot of Canucks games, and Desjardins's teams were always incredibly underwhelming. It strikes me as an odd choice.
