It was a lacklustre season to watch. I'd like to just blame the editing because these people have been putting together this show in interesting ways for years. I think they ended up with a cast full of people who were just riding coattails and three people who actually wanted to control the game....Chris, Dom and Wendell.

They milked the Dom-Chris rivalry but that ended really early and then they were left with a whole lot of nothing. The cast was playing out the string waiting for the inevitable Dom or Wendell win and the editors also phoned it in.

It's too bad as I think the theme they had this season was a good one. I think it may have been better during an all stars season though...especially bringing back the ones that made the mistakes.
