The Eberle and first for Brodie would of been fair value a season ago, but things change season to season and Brodie is not worth that much after another down year. Would you be comfortable trading an Eberle and your first for Brodie? I wouldn’t.

We are talking about the Brodie of the last two season, I doubt the Islanders want another Dman who struggles in their own zone. Eberle also had a very nice season and showed great chemistry with Barzal.
