I don't think there is a shortage of talent in the system. What I think there is a shortage of is balls in giving young players a big opportunity. We may already have the players we need, maybe they are just playing with the wrong guys? Maybe Tkachuk should be playing with Jankowski and Bennett, providing the secondary scoring and allowing Backlund/Frolik to do what they are supposedly so good at, shutting down the opposition? Maybe Bennett is that third line center we need, freeing up Jankowski to play up the lineup, maybe on the wing with Gaudreau and Monahan? There's potential with Foo, Mangiapane, Dube, Klimchuk that needs to be explored. I think the talent is there, now we just need someone who has the guts to play the talent, and stick with it. If there was one add I would like to make, it is a true sniper on the right side (either side would be fine). I'm not sure we have one of those in the system.
