So I have this theory, and its probably stupid.

What if the second half of the last episode wasn't real?


What if Coulson never woke up from his coma, and what we're seeing is some kind of way to make him more comfortable and his death easier



What if they start the next season with the team without Coulson going into battle against Talbot, without Coulson there?


Everything just seemed so perfect and heroic for Agents of Shield


Deciding to save lives instead of attacking Talbot as the group.


Coulson making the big sacrifice play, so that he would know that the shield team would be ok.


The death of Fitz, but the possibility through convoluted time travel theories that he's alive out there.


The easy death of Talbot by Daisy where she becomes the hero that he wanted her to be.


No snappy snappy dusty dusty.


The optimistic ending with Coulson on a perfect beach with the perfect woman.


What if he wakes up next year and things have gone to crap, and somehow he has to rally what's left of the team to save the world one last time?
