Can we give the Swiss coach credit? Lots of shots against and a few lights out saves but proportional to shots, relatively few high quality chances
Some of Sweden’s goals were pretty nice in terms of puck movement

You know, this is the trouble with tournaments like this, a hot goalie over a short period can paper-over a lot of cracks.
Can we give the Swiss coach credit? Absolutely! He drew up a game plan and his players executed it to perfection.
"Keep Canada to the outside, block shots, stay disciplined and capitalize on Special Teams."
That game was effectively exactly how their coach drew it up on the white-board.
If anything we have to condemn Canada for two major things:
1. Not seeing this coming from Miles away.
2. Not taking the initiative.
Scoring first throws their game plan into the trash and then they've got to come out of their shell and compete at which point Canada tears them apart.
Didnt happen.
Whatever else, give the Swiss their credit, they werent going to win a run-and-gun game against Canada so they forced Canada to play their game, a game to which we are apparently ill-suited and they got their desired result.
