Again- not to pick on you specifically, but it seems that the conversation of racism keeps being framed or brought back to individual acts of hatred.

There are numerous articles in this thread showing that racism is still a massive systemic problem that unfortunately operates at less visible level.

For whatever reason, people don't want to admit that it's a big problem, despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

North America was built on theft of land, on indigenous genocide and cultural genocide, on the backs of black slavery.

It's astonishing how anyone could suggest that centuries of state sanctioned second class citizenship for blacks and indigenous people lasting well until the later parts of the 20th century would have no bearing on the material conditions and outcomes of those groups today.

It blows my mind the lengths people will go to to deny that we have a problem with systemic racism. Minimize, deflect, derail, rinse-wash- repeat.
