I don't think game 1 will repeat itself, I have a hard time imaging that. But I think people have gone from not giving Vegas enough credit to giving them way too much. Kelly Hrudey said he would feel positive if he were Vegas after the 3rd period where they had 5 shots and literally no offense. Vegas had very few looks last night, and when they did have a good transition game Winnipeg had the same but cashed in a lot more. Vegas' only real chance imo is to do what Nashville tried and lock it down. But they don't have the top 4 D quality to pull that off.
I think that's what EOI is driving at; on paper this isn't really close. But Vegas has an 'it factor' that may show up again.
