I must say I'm surprised by this result. Shapo has not looked like the player from last year for a number of events now. Good on him for working through it and now making noise on clay against some tough opponents.
Another tough test awaits in Edmund and this win would almost guarantee him a top 30 ranking for Roland Garros.
