Approach every discussion as saying "we think we have between seven and ten NHL ready defenseman and we're looking to make a move to improve our balance" and see what other GMs say.
If they try to suggest the Flames need to trade Hamilton improve their knowledge.
The Hamilton character thing is an enigma to me ....
Uppity by Boston media who turn on every exiting player
Seemed to need his brother in Calgary
Lines up to help charities in public ways.
No exit interview
Photo bombs his teammates.

Yup.
Who knows whats part of it and whats not.
Something happened in Boston, of that there is no question. Never been addressed publicly so it festers into speculation which is where it is still at.
The brother thing...same thing. Why was he here as long as he was?
All players on this club do charity work and most of it goes unreported as they prefer.
The no exit thing again fuels the fire of discontent whether it be much ado about nothing or a massive red flag.
Smoke equals fire for most. So that's where the narrative goes. Nothing new about that.
I don't think Hamilton gets dealt myself, but it would not shock me if it happens either.
I do believe, and i may be way way off, that there is a guy moved this off season that stuns a large portion of the fan base. Strictly going off BT's words along with the indisputable fact that this team was not very good this past season. That alone brings changes to any team.
And do you think Brodie can return a 2nd line winger? Cause I'm not sure about that at all.
