Lady Death would be too abstract and I think they would want to stay away from characters that have too much metaphysical/religious implications like Lady Death or Mephisto, etc. just because of some of the conservative American audience.
Maybe Lady Death could be some cosmic alien or force that loves death, not literally the embodiment of death like in the comics. That would work well with Deadpool since the whole deal is Lady Death is in love with Deadpool so that's one reason he can't ever die. They can play on that whole love triangle since Thanos is in love with Lady Death.
