I'd be rather curious to know how a Vegas team GMed by a hockey lifer and coached by a hockey lifer would "break down the old boys' network" if they won.
Moreover, given teams like Winnipeg and Nashville also play a high speed style, why would either of them winning not achieve the same thing?
It's not like Vegas invented a new way to play.
