So if a movie is defined as a stand alone piece of Art then The Infinity War is not a good movie

So the snobby world of critics gets to write these bad reviews about the Penultimate episode in Season 3 of the MCU not being a complete piece of Art. It's click bate and intentionally missing the point but I also think it is a form of protest against the combined universe of story telling that in general (outside of the MCU) has failed
Well this is their mistake in bold.

For better or worse Marvel has redefined what is possible in movies. I do think it's fair that allot of their success can be linked to what works in other serialized medias, but that has more to do with their understanding of the source text, than ripping off the format of TV.

Story bleeding into story bleeding into story, and crossovers, and teams has been integral to the comic book form for over 50 years. They transferred their form to the movie media, rather than letting the media dictate the form, and that is really the art of what they've done.
