Grozman has retired.
As much as I loved playing football, the decision to retire is the right one in regards to my long-term health, said Grozman. I thank Coach DelMonaco, Coach Dickenson and Huff for giving me the chance to play and I wish the team and my former teammates the best of luck for the upcoming season.

I wish Roman all the best in the next chapter of his life, said Stampeders president and general manager John Hufnagel. He showed great determination and effort during his unfortunately brief time with the Stampeders and I thank him for his contributions to the club.

@mattfreemanISD:
Former #NotreDame CB Devin Butler (@DevinButler_12) tells me he has signed with the Calgary Stampeders.
Butler played his final year in 2017 at #Syracuse as a graduate transfer. He will join former #Irish WR DaVaris Daniels in Calgary. #CFL https://t.co/Jajo4Rvkk8
