I don't disagree with that either. I fully support the government coming out with a wine ban or shutting off the flow to BC, or any other economic measure as a means to an end - as you said it works in diplomacy. That's something that could get shovels in the ground. But just because it works, doesn't mean I think every BC citizen deserves it. Anyone that voted for a party with that platform because of that platform? Sure. The chickens are coming home to roost I guess.

What I don't agree with, is on a personal level, stating that every one in BC is "getting what they deserve".

I have friends and family in BC already seeing repercussions of this. Less work, reduced sales, less expendable income. Not one of them voted for the current government. I highly doubt anyone in Zama or Ft. St. John, who's livelihood relies on resource extraction is happy about the current events. You've got BC residents on this forum holding similar views. Holding a grudge to every one in the province will not get shovels in the ground and continues to widen the BS divide in this country.

It reminds me of some news site comments when Calgary was flooding, saying we "deserved it", or similar comments when Ft. Mac was burning down. Frankly it rather sickens me.
