I don't think it will happen, but I get why there's a chance.
When you look at the number of teams that can afford to bring him in, then pare those down by the situations that could provide him a chance to win, toss in a buddy like Hamonic, maybe a wish to play in Canada ... and there's a chance.
Against is his likelihood of staying in New York, the fact that he's an Easterner, and certainly the Flames and their face plant this season.
I can't see it, but I get the chatter.
