I'll be disappointed if he doesn't make a joke about Brolin picking a role and sticking with it.
As for IW, this was a pleasant surprise. I mean, I thought it would be pretty epic, but I was impressed with how they managed a cast that size and molded a solid, coherent story that wasn't frantic in the slightest.
As a semi-casual fan (never read the comics, know the big names, had to look up the significance of the end-credits scene) I still understand the formula of superhero movies. The final scenes were interesting because I didn't think they would end off that way, but it wasn't emotionally jarring. Alright, maybe Parker begging Tony to help him was a little rough. They will be back in some way.
However, I think Marvel has learned from Logan that you can end a character or multiple characters if you do it well, and leave hope for the future. I suspect some characters will ultimately sacrifice themselves in some way in A4.
For the first time in 20 years, I am considering heading back to the theatre to see a movie again.
