I wonder if the emergence of some of their young forwards, like Couturier, Konecny and Patrick, if the Flyers would have any interest in dealing Simmonds now that he's only got a year left?
I wouldn't deal for him unless a reasonable extension was in place, but he'd be a solid fit for the top line RW, or even on a line with Tkachuk.
His last two playoffs were also abysmal production wise, so maybe the Flyers will look to switch things up.
