The job of the next coach is pretty simple. Use his personnel properly and adapt the system to the talent. Activate the defense, allow them to join the rush and get involved in the offense. Start using the skilled forwards in skilled situations and your defensive forwards in defensive situations. Let the players use their instincts to generate offense!

If this team does not use a quick transition game to their advantage, allow the blue line to get in the play, and stop allowing the opposition to get setup in their defensive shell prior to the Flames mo in the puck up ice, this will be another lost season. The measures for Peters will be very easy to make, and you won’t need a spreadsheet to do so. The first games of pre-season will tell us what type of game Peters is going to let this team play, and will signal how happy or pissed the fan base should be.
