Confusing move. Treliving has definitely pushed all in with this hire. If Peters can't get the team to the post-season in 2018-19 then Treliving has pretty much ended his tenure with the Flames. I have to question his thinking. In eleven years as a head coach, at all levels, Peters has managed to get his team into the post season only four times, and out of the first round, only once. Not exactly a history of success. Have to wonder what he sees in this guy, other than numbers that will keep the spreadsheet warriors happy. Definitely a head scratcher.
