outside of a handful of people on this board i find it extremely unlikely the vast majority of people here calling this a horrible decision have watched more than 2 carolina games per year since peters was hired.
its okay to say: i have no idea what im talking about, but i hate this decision because he's not AV or sutter - but to say you know anything about his coaching style or abilities by simply looking at hockeydb is asinine. the guy is reportedly sought after by multiple nhl clubs and has coached team canada internationally. i say if this is the coach BT decides to hang his job on, then we should at least wait to see his first game before condemning peters. he might be a ####ty coach, but there's no way for us to know that before any games are played

It is also not ok to say despite the numbers or the fact the guy has won nothing on a criminally underrated Carolina team he has shown absolutely nothing. I have given my reasons why multiple times and it is not just because he is not AV or Sutter. I even said I would rather have kept GG. Even if his coaching record outside the NHL is not impressive but that is ok, he is gonna lead us to the promised land! Lol.
