Obviously, Treliving thinks Gulutzan was the right choice but the players tuned him out. Unfortunately, that's also what I heard about Peters in Carolina. Even The Fan 960 was critical, quoting a former Flame (Commodore, I believe) who said he couldn't understand the move.

Why do we insist on hiring coaches with a proven track record of poor performance?
Commodore thinks Babcock is the worst person/coach in NHL...he knows Peter's as Babcock's assistant. Grain of salt.
