Have lived in edmonton for four years we found a couple of really good restaraunts.
You can't go wrong with the
Manor Cafe (right near MEC on 124st and Jasper)...really really REALLY good grub and pretty reasonable (check out the menu!).
Normands is another place on Jasper, pretty good too, noteworthy because they have
wild game (muskox is ****ing tasty, like AAAAA beef)...ambiance isn't the greatest though...kinda like Edmonton itself
And if you want the best Chinese food hit
Buddy Won-Ton's on your way out of town and get the green onion cakes.
My wife and I found the dining in Edmonton suprisingly good
