Is your prediction really that bold? Betting sports team failure is a pretty safe bet. Less teams succeed and don't in sports, and the ones that do, simply raise the bar of what success is to the point that the stop succeeding again. By 3 years from now, even if this works short term, the conversation will shift from getting us to the playoffs to why haven't we won a championship and do we have the right GM and Coach to get us over that hump.
It's why there is always so much change in this industry, only 1 out of 32 or whatever teams ever actually succeeds each year, and peoples memories get short, even if you win.
