I don't know how successful Peters has been in the past, but at the very least he is a guy who is leaving a guaranteed job to come to a job that he really wants! He is coming home. That's got to amount to something.

Here's another positive thing. Most of the other candidates have been fired as an NHL head coach. Bill Peters has not been fired as an NHL coach.
