Certainly a debatable point, but judging the organization's actions over the past year, the message is clear. Win. Ownership & hockey ops wants to compete now. Not saying I agree with it, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least for the Flames to trade a young roster player/prospect or two for an impact player that will help them over the next 3 years or so.
