Most bosses I have seen would be looking very closely
I would not be surprised at all if ownership would at very least require Tre to identify why any candidate he recommends is a better idea than Sutter

This isn't that simple though.
The owners are oil and gas and doughnuts and coffee guys ... not hockey people. You don't want them pushing their weight around on topics they have zero skill to utilize.
