I'd say we have a pretty good idea at this point, considering he just gave the guy he thought "was going to take this team to the next level" his walking papers after one of the most miserable seasons this organization has known in a long time, with high expectations too.
No, he's not as smart as he thinks, and I don't see any need to be adamantly defending his decisions or the processes that they go through. Not after he just fessed up to it in a presser.
