Very happy about the change in coaching staff and even more pleased that it happened as quickly as it did (lightning fast for Brad "The Process" Treliving).
This team needs more than a new coaching staff, it needs a culture shift. People have argued that everything is fine with the culture, but winning in this league is really challenging as is consistency year to year.
To me, stay the course means everyone is okay with mediocrity inside the organization.
Is the team a glass half empty or half full scenario? To me with the current core, some solid hockey trades, and the prospects that are on the cusp of being NHL players, the team glass is more than half full.
The organization is tougher if you think about the ownership, but without it I think Tre and BB hate losing and mediocrity. How to change this is more challenging, but if teams like Colorado go from last place in the league to WC and have already 1 game against the Preds, means a lot can change from one season to the next.
My nickels worth...
