I think this is probably it. If Peters is the guy, then it may signal more clearly what Treliving sees as the main issues—not so much systemic, but more in Gulutzan's inability to manage his players. It seems like a reasonable conclusion to draw: the team's performance mid-season to start games; their inexplicably awful performance on home ice; their failure to execute on the powerplay; their tendency to unravel when surrendering a goal are all things that seem like they could be correctable under a different hand.
