I guess part of what I'm arguing is, with respect to Bill Peters, why are they even trying? That's assuming the source is accurate, and there is an offer on the table. That's terrifying.
Darryl Sutter is at home, and Barry Trotz is playing what appears to be his final games in Washington.
Bill Peters shouldn't even be on the radar until all 3 of Vigneault, Trotz, and Sutter, have declined offers from the Flames.
