You cant point to oilers deals because its clear those were crazy at the time, and toronto seems to have a very strong management group
If the leafs make it known they ade looking for a d man, and/or are willimg to move nylander, they get 29 better offers than brodie
Thats not a position of weakness, this wouldnt be a deadline deal or dealing a ufa
