The whole Jankowski thing is just a microcosm of what's wrong in the bigger picture of this franchise, and shows just how far this team has moved from the earned, never given motto that it once proudly used to help build the identity of this team. you might not think it's a big deal, and in Jankowski's career it's not, but it absolutely sent the wrong message to the whole team, and at the very beginning of the season. One of my biggest criticisms of this team all year has been lack of accountability, for poor play, for poor results and for poor decisions, and that applies to both on and off the ice.
