Kadri knew exactly what he was doing. He saw him falling and that's why he thrust his backside out,which he knew was now head height of Wingels.
He's using the excuse that it if he was standing he'd be fine. Sure. And if he was standing Kadri would not have intentionally thrust his backside out as he did.
That was a malicious, opportunistic, intentional act to knowingly slam a players head into the boards. Not just a head shot, but a head shot knowing he is going to use the boards on a very vulnerable player in a very vulnerable position.
