She may be kinda screwed in the head, but what in there makes you think her daughter should be taken away from her? It seems pretty apparent that she has her daughter's best interests (what she sees as her daughter's best interests, anyway) in mind. I find nothing in there to suggest her daughter would be better off without her. On the contrary, being seperated from her mother is likely to cause a great deal of harm to the both of them
