Call me crazy, but I wonder about a move to the wing solving problems in house for Hamilton. Less defensive responsibility, focus on offensive talents.
Meets the needs of the Flames, maybe alleviates his responsibilities. Not sure he'd be willing, not sure it is realistic.

He can make a Hamilton available but take a page from Sakic (man I never thought I'd say that) and wait it out. You don't need to make a move if you don't get the key pieces you are looking for.
