Part of their job is to be available to the media. They get paid millions to play a game. As a pro you should stand up and be accountable at the end of the season. Talking to the media is not a completely optional part of their job. They are obligated to do it at times. Is it not part of the CBA?
A goalie not wanting to talk on game day I understand. A guy completely avoiding the end of season interviews just seems weak. I think its perfectly fair for anybody to criticize Hamilton for it. The rest of his team did it, why is he the only guy who gets to skip out on answering questions by the media (and by extension the fans)?
