The onus is on Treliving to fire GlueGun. That would make fans a bit more optimistic about the future of the Flames.
Ownership could fire Ken King as well which would go along way too.

I don't post often - and personally would even be happy to pay for a forum like this - because I like the discussion about my team, its successes, its woes, and its history. I have often enjoyed the GTs and PGTs and especially the ATLs. There are many thoughtful, quality posters and posts. They're interesting to read and think about - and discuss.
But the constant bickering, sniping, ad hominem attacks, the repetitive and childish "you're stupid" comments etc have finally gotten to me. The last straw for me was in the thread about green garbage bag day...and the attacks on Dougie.
Thanks Diemenz for that, but it's more like "The irrational hate on this board for ANY FLAMES PLAYER WHO HAPPENS TO BECOME THE TARGET OF THE MOMENT is at a point where it is just plan ludicrous."
It's not just Hamilton...over the year, let's see off the top of my head: Stajan, Brouwer, Bartkowski, Ferland, Bennett, Frolik (after Vegas), Glass, Lazar...the list is long of players who have been bashed, trashed and gassed somewhere on the forum.
Disappointment is one thing: outright malice and bile quite another. And most people here are _fans_ of the team. And most would probably be happy to sit down to a beverage or two and discuss things in real life with others.
Maybe CP needs its own green garbage bag day? Or a section of the forum where people can spew and others don't have to put up with it. The remainder of the forum can then return to some form of civil discourse. It's one thing to disagree - and I'm sure some will disagree with this post - but the tone of the forums is (I'm guessing - someone will know posting stats) driving people away. And that is a sad thing.
People post "old man yelling at the cloud" memes...well, it's no better here these days.
So here's a request: think about your posts as if you were sitting across a table discussing the subject with someone you don't know. Would you say what you post? If you wouldn't....don't post it.
