I’d agree with this.

I was less than impressed with a handful of posters in the Matt Stajan thread. 319 players ever in the entire NHL have hit 1000 games. Not too many have hit the milestone as a Flame, much less with the majority of games as a Flame. Took the role assigned to him and scored the only playoff winner in the past 13 years. Character guy with a heartbreaking story, and a tremendous guy in the community. And some folks feel the need to use that as a place to say good riddance and a lot worse.

I’m not the owner, and it is likely a good thing. Civility is important, and I would probably take more opportunities to cull the herd based on lack of basic decency rather than flagrant offensiveness.
