You're way off base.
Cohon and Ambrosie are both amazing commissioners and have done a ton of great things for the league. They've done everything they can to make the league viable and have almost made every possible correct decision and very few, if any, mistakes. The idiot in between was bad though.
Now, the CFL may yet die a slow and terrible death, but it won't be because of terrible decisions. It'll be because of shifting landscapes in their major markets and how fans spend their entertainment dollars. They need Calgary, Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto to be healthy.
Right now I'd say all four have been in a steady decline for the past 5 years. Calgary and Montreal may yet be saved. Vancouver and Toronto I think are too far gone. CFL football will never be able to compete in those cities.
Some sinking ships just can't be saved, no matter who is in charge.
