With the assist on Daniel's goal, Henrik is now first all-time in overtime assists, pulling ahead of Ryan Getzlaf and Nicklas Lidstrom. You'd have to think Getzlaf will eventually hold the record there, probably next season, but still kind of neat. Along the same lines, Daniel Sedin was already the all-time leader in overtime power play goals, but now becomes the first player to get into double digits with ten. Second place is Evgeni Malkin with 6, so that record might take a while for someone to top.
I'm honestly wondering what happens in Edmonton tomorrow. Do the fans give them a hand after the game? It's actually possible that the Sedins retiring will save the Oilers from having their fans end their season by booing them off the ice.
