Obviously this is an insane reaction that can't be justified. But it's totally justifiable for people to be upset and frustrated by Youtube's practices, because there just isn't another option.
This came out today, an interview with a major youtube personality by another major youtube personality, and it's pretty interesting to hear the inside perspective on what it's like to live in this world.

I used to watch sxephil in the old days. His content was mostly crap to be honest, but he was one of those originals who just used youtube like a diary and people tuned in. He does have some funny takes to be fair.
