yeah, i listened to a lot of jim rome when i worked nights a few years back, i'd doze and listen because there was nothing else on the radio at that time.
after a while i 'got' jim rome, when the constant references to something the clones had been droning on aboot for weeks made sense.
he'll quite often pull out the feigned 'overwhelmed by bad e-mail' thing to drum up some more comedy, and quite honestly, there is some seriously choice stuff that floats his way.
andre in ottawa and jeff on a car phone in vegas and some other colourful guys always spiced up the show.
i really think there's dozens / hundreds of people that make jim rome their daily purpose, they do nothing but send him funny stuff and work on their takes.
there's obviously thousands of bored cubinmates that ship e-mails as bare minimum, quite a phenomenon.
i never really listened to rome after that spring / summer of vampiric lifestyle, but i do 'get' it.
